Rangaroon Bungalow is located beside tea estate. It is a small scenic tea garden located 6000 feet above sea level and 16 kilometres from Darjeeling with a great view of Mt. Kanchenjunga.
With a small population and a tea-growing area of around 90 hectares, it is a popular destination among tourists who wish to extend their Darjeeling trip and take in the natural sights and sounds of the hills.
Rangaroon can be considered as heart of the 38 square km long stretched Senchal wildlife Sanctuary. The natural corridors here may give chances to see the numerous species of Himalayan wildlife, the flora & fauna during all time.

How to Reach Rangaroon-
From Siliguri the road distance to Rangaroon is about 80kms and will take about 3.5 hours. You will need to come to Jorebunglow near Ghoom and then take the road for Lamahatta. Easiest is to take a taxi from NJP station. Otherwise take a shared jeep up to Jorebunglow and then another one from there up to Rangaroon.

Peshok Viewpoint is about 15 kms away where you can see the wonderful confluence of rivers Teesta and Rangeet, a place known as Triveni.
