How to reach Aritar
Aritar is situated in Rhenock subdivision of East Sikkim. It is one of the important places in the Historic Old Silk Route.
By Rail:Nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri railway station (NJP). It will take 4hrs and 30 min to reach Aritar by car from NJP.
By Air: Nearest Airport is Bagdogra (IXB). By car It will take 5hrs to reach here from Bagdogra.
By Road: Aritar can be reached from Siliguri by various hired vehicle in roughly 5hours. Nearest town: Rhenock, 6 Km from it is the nearest town.

LAMPOKHARI LAKE– This is one of the oldest natural lakes in Sikkim, located at an altitude of 4500 ft. It is a popular spot, surrounded by lush greenery and placid surroundings. It has recently been constructed to allow boating, the only lake in Sikkim which has boating facilities. Boating gives a different view of the surrounding hills. There are facilities of horse riding and archery also around the lake, for those looking for more activities.
Monastery -Aritar Gumpa is famous for its beautifully carved traditional architecture.
