Day 01: Hasimara/ Alipurduar Rly Station – Phuentsholing
(Altitude of Phuentsholing: 293 mts.)
Meet & Greet on arrival at Hasimara Railway Station and transfer to Phuentsholing – The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. It is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
After breakfast complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit the Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 03: Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue) a place for refreshing with a huge statue of Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrang, National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, Taking Preserve Centre, The talking national animal of Bhutan can be seen here Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 04: Thimphu– Paro Sightseeing
(Distance:. / Altitude of Paro: 2280 mts.)
After breakfast drive to Paro (7,483 ft). On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong – National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangkha, etc. Rinpung Dzong – Meaning “fortress of the heap of jewels”. The dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 05: Excursion to Taktshang Monastery
After breakfast visit famous Taktsang Monastery – called “Tiger’s Nest” (2 hrs hike from the base camp).This monastery is built amazingly on a cliff.It is said that Guru Rimpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery and hence called a “Tiger Nest” .This monastery was built in 1692 caught fire on 19thApril 1998,that damaged the main structure of the building and some religious contents. On a sunny day please do remember to carry sunscreen lotions, water ,walking stick and a hat. Once you reach the monastery pleas do not forget to have a peep at the tiger’s nests. It is usually led into by a small door. Overnight stay will be at Paro.
Day 06: Paro – Phuentsholing- Hasimara
(Distance: 200 kms. / Driving Time: 7 hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Phuentsoling and then to Alipurduar/ Hasimara railway station for return journey

Airline seats and hotel rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking.
In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard.
Check-in and check-out times at hotels would be as per hotel policies. These are generally pre-decided as per operation schedules.
Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal.
Rates are based on above mentioned pax travelling together, any change in no of pax, days and date of journey will attract re-quote.
THE WEEKENDER reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
It is mandatory for all guests to carry valid photo ID’s (Passport/Driving License/Voter ID Card). PAN Card is not accepted at many places as a valid photo ID.
If your flights involve a combination of different airlines, you may have to collect your luggage on arrival at the connecting hub and register it again while checking in for the return journey to your origin.
Service GST 5% shall be applicable over and above the mentioned prices.
Payment of 25% of Package Cost at the time of booking and balance within 7days prior travel date. Booking is confirmed on payment of booking amount.
Less than 7 Days Prior to Travel Date: 100% of the Package Cost as Cancellation Charge
7-15 Days Prior to Travel Date: 75% of the Package Cost as Cancellation Charge
16-30 Days Prior to Travel Date: 75% of the Package Cost as Cancellation Charge
More than 30 Days: Full Refund of Package Cost Excluding Processing Fees
Restricted Area Permit for Punakha / Wangdue / Thimphu / Paro:
Restricted Area Permit is required to visit Punakha / Wangdue from Home Ministry of Bhutan. No charge will be applicable for this permit. Please bring 02 passport size photographs and Voter ID card or Passport of each person including child. This special permit is given only after guest has entered Bhutan. Permits are not issued on Saturday, Sunday & Govt. holidays.
ü Adults must carry original & valid Passport or original Voter ID card. Children must carry original & valid Passport or original birth certificate & school photo ID card.
ü Remember to carry sufficient woolens including hand gloves.
ü Please check with your mobile service provider for charges related to Bhutan.
Indian currency of Rs 500 and 2000 is not accepted at all places in Bhutan but lower currency notes are accepted
